Visual Communications Assistant

The Career Mapping project provides information for Liberal Arts students on the various career paths and options available to them upon graduation from a bachelor’s degrees.  The resource also helps student plan to educational pathways to expand or diversify their career options over their life span. 

The visual communication assistant will support the career mapping project by conducting research, and formatting Excel reports and coding them for translation into Flourish and Link Tree, as well as producing marketing and communication materials.   This will position work closely and collaborate with visual designers in partnership with UFV’s Community Health and Social Innovation Hub (CHASI).

CANDIDATE:  This project is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed work but appreciates the importance of bringing data to life using visual communication strategies.  An interest in career exploration, and the promotion of the Liberal Arts is an asset.   The ability to work with a diverse group of people and collaborative share feedback is required.

The ability to work remotely and self-directed are a must. 

Note: Advanced Excel skills are an asset.
