Job Summary

Approaching our 30th anniversary, the Clarke Theatre is in the process of a major upgrade that will ensure the venue remains vital for another 30 years.

 

The Theatre Operations Intern will assist the Theatre Operations Manager and theatre technical staff in all aspects of running the Clarke Theatre. This is an opportunity to gain experience and offer support in the following areas:

 

-          Marketing and Promotion

-          Front of House

-          Lighting Hanging and Design

-          Sound Operation and Design

-          Running of Show

-          Production


CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate should express a strong interest in gaining fundamental knowledge in performing arts production, presentation, promotion, and marketing, coupled with proficiency in social media. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, and a high level of professionalism is anticipated.

 

This position will include interacting with the public and guest artists, as well as working collaboratively with theatre staff and contractors.
