Reintegration Through Relationship (RTR) Society

RTR Society is a trauma-informed, relationally focused non-profit supporting justice-involved individuals as they transition back into the community. Through education, training, and community programming, RTR promotes healing, cultural connection, and safer communities.


Position Overview The Marketing Assistant will help increase RTR’s visibility and engagement across digital platforms. Working with the Executive Director, the student will support social media strategy, outreach, and marketing materials that reflect RTR’s relational and trauma-informed approach.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with social media planning, content creation, scheduling, and analytics.

  • Create graphics and digital materials that align with RTR’s brand voice.

  • Research community networks and potential collaborators.

  • Support development of an online resource directory.

  • Update website content, events, and promotional materials to maintain consistent messaging.


Learning Opportunities Students will receive mentorship and gain experience in trauma-informed marketing, social media strategy, community outreach, and ethical storytelling within a non-profit environment.


Ideal Candidate A creative and socially conscious communicator with an interest in digital marketing, community engagement, and social justice. Organized, reflective, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple tasks. Familiarity with social media platforms and design tools (e.g., Canva, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) is an asset.


Qualifications3rd- or 4th-year student in a relevant program.
