Are you a creative digital media or graphics arts specialist? Do you take marketing copy and make it sing? Can you work with non-creative folks who have clear inspiration points and make their vision a reality? The Abbotsford Community Foundation is looking for a Graphics Artist practicum student to help build our social media content and create memorable visual graphics to tell the story of our work and its impact.

Reporting to the Executive Director, our Digital Content Creator will make the following possible:
Create visually inspiring content that tells the story of ACF's work in the community & its impact
Collaborate to develop engaging social media content - either through 2D animation, infographics, visual story boards, illustrated flow charts, and more
Help with event branding concepts and graphics
Offer suggestions, opportunities, and other ideas (for digital content) to enhance the organization’s awareness in the Abbotsford community
Candidate: The ideal candidate has a willingness to collaborate and work within a team. Prides themselves on having lots of self-motivation to be able to carry out tasks without direct supervision. Has great design skills in multiple media software such as Indesign, Canva, Illustrator, etc.
Note: Experience with photography and video is an asset but not a requirement.
Students will enrol in ARTS 380 for this practicum opportunity, An Honorarium will be offered by the Foundation.
