Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY:
Support digital marketing and communications for fundraising campaigns at Mission Hospice Society. Assist with creating content, visual materials, and outreach initiatives to raise awareness of hospice services. A key project includes helping plan and produce an impact video for the annual fundraising gala, highlighting the role of hospice care and community support.
TASKS / QUALITIES:
• Support visual and written communication tasks
• Contribute to fundraising, outreach, and digital content
• Assist with donor communications and public-facing materials
• Revise work based on feedback to align with brand and accessibility standards
• Work both independently and collaboratively with staff
• Approach work with professionalism, compassion, and sensitivity to hospice care context
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong writing skills with ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
• Basic knowledge of visual communication, branding, and layout
• Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
• Ability to support social media, campaign content, and visual asset creation
• Organized and able to manage both creative and administrative tasks
• Professional, ethical, and able to maintain confidentiality in a sensitive care context
